Just shortly after 2PM, the National Weather Service in Norman had issued a Fire Weather Watch for Logan County until Tuesday evening (Feb 26th, 2024.)

The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Fire Weather Watch for hot, windy, and dry conditions, which is in effect from Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening.


* WINDS - Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.


* RELATIVE HUMIDITY - 15 TO 20 percent.


* TEMPERATURES - Mid 80s.


* IMPACTS - Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
