The City of Guthrie is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic and Firefighter/EMT. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a current valid Oklahoma Driver’s license, and have no felony conviction. A successful candidate must advance through a competitive hiring procedure.
National Registry and State of Oklahoma EMT required. Firefighter I, EMT-Intermediate, Advanced EMT, or Paramedic license preferred. Applicants who do not possess a Paramedic License will be required to obtain one within 5 years of employment. Applicants must be eligible to participate in the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System.
